We are an ambitious impact start up with a goal of making sustainability data more standardized and available. We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join our team and help us build a robust data management platform.

You will work along experienced data scientists to deploy powerful AI tools and automations. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing, young, dynamic tech company determined to make a strong positive impact on the world.

Our team’s objective is to develop data pipelines and infrastructures that can handle large amounts of data and support the needs of our clients as they grow and evolve. This includes building flexible and modular systems that can be easily extended or modified as requirements change, and designing data processes that are efficient and easy to scale.

Purpose and responsibilities include:

• Build robust data pipelines between client documents and our ESG Database

  → Client send us sustainability-related documents for us to aggregate and manage their ESG data. We are building tools to extract their data in a structured way and display it through the app.

• Support backend development

  → We support the Tech Team on backend development in areas that are closest to our data interests. We discuss new features with the Product team and do the implementation ourselves. Mainly features around the ESG database, client data manipulation, automated calculations, etc.

• Build 3rd party integrations

  → In a shared effort with the Tech Team, we are building integrations with our client’s third party ESG softwares. This adds a lot of value to our app, and provides a clean link between our ESG database and client data.

• Technical Customer Success

  → We support the Customer Success team around individual client requests that require some technical skills. We provide flexibility to our processes by managing custom requests that fall out of our current processes.

• Graduated in engineering or computer science

• Strong coding skills in python. Confortable with git / GitHub

• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and API manipulations.

• Experience in devOps / MLOps, GCP experience is a good plus

• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job
