The position

Job description

He.she is responsible for building change strategies to support teammates in navigating change smoothly to ensure our collective success. This involves raising awareness, sparking desire, sharing knowledge, building abilities, and reinforcing understanding across various projects (eg. new Digital Operating Model in Countries, evolution of the employee journey in a matrix-based organization, facilitate a community of senior leaders to involve them in cultural change …).

Secondly, the Change Manager is responsible for reinforcing the effectiveness of the People team through the establishment of a shared way of working among the Digital People Team. It includes driving change to implement this new way of working and associated mindset. He.she is also responsible for steering projects through the development and implementation of roadmaps, rituals, tools, templates, and other mechanisms aimed at enhancing team collaboration, efficiency, and effectiveness.

This position is attached to the People Function, and it's essential to grasp the rationale behind, as it tells you more about the type of talent we seek to add to our team. While the principles of Change Management and the methodology may resemble those found in many Change Management divisions, here we specifically require individuals with a deep sensitivity to matters concerning Culture, People, and Mindset.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Change Management:

  • Depending on the project you are assigned, develop and execute a comprehensive change management plan to foster the adoption and understanding of the change among leaders and teammates.
  • Be connected to all type of stakeholders, especially team members and mid-managers to understand the environment and build appropriate change solutions
  • Spark desire and enthusiasm for change initiatives by highlighting the benefits and opportunities they bring to the organization and teammates.
  • Develop various channels to ensure employees are proficient in using new tools and processes (training, awareness, voice over, cold contents …)
  • Monitor progress and adapt strategies to ensure successful understanding and adoption of targeted audiences

Stakeholders Engagement:

  • Collaborate with different project and program leaders (beyond Digital People Team), communications team and Digital People leaders to drive change as One within Decathlon Digital
  • Engage with key stakeholders and audiences to understand their needs and concerns, and tailor approaches accordingly

Ways of Working: Apply your Change Management Knowledge and Expertise to your own team: the Digital People Team

  • Develop and implement a shared way of working within the People team, fostering collaboration, alignment, and synergy among HRBPs, Leaders and HR Project leaders
  • Establish rituals and routines to facilitate effective communication, decision-making, and progress tracking
  • Provide teams with the necessary tools, templates, and resources to streamline processes and workflows
  • Continuously evaluate and refine project management practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness
  • Build simple and efficient dashboards to track value delivery and main KPIs of the HR Function

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Change management expertise, ability to develop and implement creative change strategies
  • Great communication and influencing skills
  • Project management skills, proven experience in implementing agile ways of working and portfolio practices
  • Capacity to federate various stakeholders around shared goals and projects
  • English is mandatory since a lot of collaboration with countries is expected
