Job description

🎓 Master's degree

💼 5-7 years of experience

📍 Barcelona

🌍 Lucca is getting global. Also, still have in mind that an important part of the workforce is in France. For this job, the required level in Spanish is mother tongue or equivalent; the required level in English is C2 (totally bilingual), and French basics would be a great plus.

Job description

A bit of context

Lucca has been developing SaaS solutions to increase employee efficiency and engagement. We address the main administrative and HR management issues. Our solutions are used today by over one million users in all types of companies (from the chic hotel chain Accor to the surf brand Rip Curl) and particularly in those with strong growth developing internationally (Novo Nordisk, Nexthink, etc.). Our work is guided by the belief that a management software doesn't have to be gray, ugly, or boring. That is why we attach great importance to the design of our interfaces and the user experience.

In 2022, Lucca celebrated its 20th anniversary and embarked on its internationalization journey by establishing its first three subsidiaries outside of France, in Barcelona, Geneva and Munich.

Spain is a 3 years old market. Our solutions are already used in a number of companies in Spain. As our clients supported us to get a relevant product market fit, we have now the ambition to accelerate our growth with the hiring of an experienced Country Manager and leader. Foundations of the market are already built, your main challenge is to scale our business in Spain.

Your role

You are the decision maker for the Spanish operation: you own the P&L responsibility, you manage the local team, you define the strategy and monitor it’s execution.

More details about your main missions as Country Manager:

1. Go To Market Execution

- Define the new business, cross-selling and retention strategy

- Generate a creative and effective lead generation strategy with the local marketing team

- Manage with excellence the lead flow and conversion

- Participate in sales processes with strategic leads & clients

2. Leadership

- Manage the whole local team (diversified missions and skills - not only sales)

- Coach and mentor current collaborators to support them in acquiring new skills

- Create trustworthy relationships with HQ and external stakeholders

3. Testing, iterating, learning and reporting

- Contribute to the creation and improvement of marketing, sales and customer success assets dedicated to the Spanish market

- Establish hypotheses and test them to improve your market approach and strategy

- Share analysis, feedback from the field and associated recommendations to the relevant internal Lucca teams and stakeholders to maximize our market growth

Ideal profile

❏ You have a Master's degree

❏ You are native Spanish & fluent in English. French is a big plus (B1-B2 minimum)

❏ You had 5-7 years of experience in the SaaS sector and a successful experience as a Go To market leader in Spain

❏ You have an entrepreneurial mindset: ideally you have already worked on the opening of the Spanish market for a foreign company

❏ You like to take on big challenges: you are curious, with a real desire to learn and results-oriented working methods

❏ You have a strong operational spirit: you like action, getting your hands into the field

❏ You have very good communication skills both in writing and orally, to communicate internally and represent the company in the country

❏ You are an adaptable team-player, interested in collaborating with different cultures internally

We will have the perfect fit and a high potential for Lucca if we can picture you growing theses skills with us…
